One of the major plus points of this hotel was the price for a double b&b room. We stayed for one night awhilst attending a concert at Milton Keynes bowl and the rate was very very good compared to hotels closer to the venue. The drive to and from the venue was about 15 mins each way, which was fab! I would say the best thing about this hotel was the bed - very large and very very comfortable!
The hotel was a little dated. The public areas weren't too bad - but the rooms could do wish a makeover. I would rate the cleanliness of the room as a 6/10 and the bathroom facilities were quite basic and old. Also, the room had a very over powering smell of air freshner, as did the toilets in the public areas... I think they may have been trying to mask a smell - however after staying for one night, I woke with a stuffy nose which wasn't great!

Everything was modern and met requests. Liked this well priced hotel, easy to find, with competent staff with one particular member of the staff. The venue had a central location right in the center of town.

Lovely English country hotel with charm and style. The service and team are warm and polite. Breakfast was rich and cooked with love. The location is central.
Unfortunately, I had a room facing the main street - it is impossible to sleep with the window open. Next time I would book a room with a view of the courtyard.

great location but minimal bar options
The location is perfect for exploring nearby shops and restaurants. The breakfast selection was excellent and well worth the price.
There were limited drink options available at the bar.

All the staff were very friendly. The room itself was comfortable, a lovely bed which we really didn't want to get up from in the morning.
If you're planning on staying here for an early morning tour of Silverstone, I really wouldn't recommend it. We were told breakfast is at 8 but at 8.20 the staff were still putting juice, cereals and fruit out on the side board. We had to leave the cooked breakfasts we ordered as these weren't ready in time for us to leave to get to Silverstone in time for our tour.

The Double Room was really comfy and updated, definitely felt cozy after a long day. The decor was nice and gave it a homey feel. No complaints about the bathroom or anything, it was all well-maintained. Got a good night's sleep with the comfy bed. Really enjoyed my stay here!

We stayed over with our 10 week old daughter and the staff made us feel very welcome. All the staff gave excellent customer service and the hotel itself was perfect for us. We will definatley be recommending to our friends and we will also being staying over again ourselves. We live local in mk and found the perfect location for us to have the occasional relaxing break.

Very nice and courteous staff, the food in the restaurant is very good, there is also something for vegetarians and vegans. Very large selection of beverages of all kinds. Nice, rustic ambience. The location of the hotel is very central. You can reach the Silverstone race track within 10 minutes.
The single room was really very small (as a solo traveler you are apparently punished), the bathroom was tiny, but sufficient. The location to the busy main road (even at night) is not for noise-sensitive people.

I appreciated the elegant decor and well-kept common areas. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.
Steep stairs could be challenging for seniors.

The staff, food very good, good location for a stop off point, very easy to access.
The bathroom was not quite as good as it could have been (there was a 'ufo' on a tile in the bathroom from a previous guest, which was fairly plain to see).
